Getting with the Programme

Nutri Advanced Metabolic Detox ProgrammeI have been slightly wary of writing this post as I’ve now decided to go in a different direction with all things food and health. Don’t worry I haven’t abandoned the “healthy ship” at all, instead I would say I have embraced it even further and have absolutely loved reading all about various nutritional benefits of certain foods as well as testing out some of the Hemsley & Hemsley recipes, so good. But, let’s get back to the two-week Metabolic Detox Programme, shall we? Facts: It last two weeks, you are given supplements (as seen in the first photo), specific meal plans, recipes, a list of foods allowed and a special drink powder. It’s a pretty well organised 14 days although it does take at least a couple of days to get your head around all the various supplements to take and at the right times of the day. The supplements taken were Ultraclear plus pH / Meta lipoate / Psyllium husk and apple pectin / NAC / Celapro / Fish Oil capsules I personally found taking all these supplements pretty uncomfortable to start off with and I felt incredibly “stuffed” by them.
