Whenever celebrities hit the red carpet, they’ve always got a gorgeous glow to their skin that not only photographs beautifully but also leaves them looking radiant and healthy. Glowing and highlighted skin has become a real trend as of late in terms of makeup but body wise, there are also a number of products out there to help you emulate the same glow the celebs are able to achieve! Today I’ll be introducing you to 3 of these products, all perfect for you to slip into your body care routine.
FOR EVERYDAY: Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream
Now I know a lot of people are completely over the whole BB/CC/EE cream phase but this product really works! Coming in two shades (Light & Medium to Deep), this cream promises to beautify your skin in 5 different ways, including hydrating, illuminating, evening skin tone and minimising imperfections, which may seem like a big ask for a daily moisturiser but it really does deliver!
The color pigments are very minimal and with the light shade, there’s very little color if at all when applied to my fair skin (which I prefer as it ensures my body doesn’t look orange or that it’s wearing makeup) but what it does do is hydrate nicely and give your skin a beautiful, lit within glow that looks really natural! My skin is left looking and feeling very smooth and healthy and I have noticed that with continual use, imperfections have become less evident in appearance so with prolonged use, I definitely think that it will even out your overall skin tone.
FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS: RCK Red Carpet Kolour Body Glow
This product is one I’ve talked about previously on the blog and it’s one I go for whenever I have a big occasion or party to attend. Available in 3 shades: Light, Medium and Dark, this product was actually made for celebrities to wear on the red carpet so it really emulates that type of finish on the skin.
The formula isn’t heavy on the skin and blends very easily and once you apply it and let it set for a few minutes, it becomes transfer proof and you’re left with an amazing glow without looking sparkly. It also has a blur type effect to it which leaves your skin looking even more smooth and perfected.
FOR LONG TERM: ARBONNE Intelligence Genius Booster Serum
This product truly is skincare for your body. This anti-aging body serum is a really versatile product as it can be used in different ways – by itself to target problem areas or mixed in with your usual daily moisturiser. It contains ingredients such as the Arbonne PBR+ Complex to improve skin appearance and smooth lines as well as a number of omega fatty acids and sea buckthorn to hydrate the skin.
The serum is nice and lightweight and gives an immediate pearlescent glow to the skin and a nice extra boost of hydration when mixed in with your usual moisturiser which also allows for easy application. I think this would be particularly great when used on mature skin or those who suffer greatly with dry skin as it not only provides an immediate effect but a great long term one as well.
