Accessories. All of you who follow my blogknowI love them.What you might not know about me is I don't really like to take much time getting dressedespecially for the everyday.
I want as much style effect with as little time investedas possible.
Truth be toldmost days I am more interested in accomplishing what I need to dothan spending time primping.
I also spend much too much of my daynot changing out of my work out clothes.
So I have found having a daily uniformsuits my lifestyle.
In the winter here in SoCalit is consisting of my Jag jeans and my cashmere sweater.
By adding in my accessoriesI can quickly and effortlesslytake two basic pieces from the look above ...
to this.For some holiday shopping I did my hair :)) my makeup (I am loving a Chanel red lips)added a fur vest
either my leopard turbanor my favorite fedora
earringsbraceletsand my vintage necklace(the DIY is here)
My ankle boots and bag from Target finish off the outfit.
Or instead of the vestI just throw on my favoritefur stole my daughter bought for me in Italylast year when she studied there.
I had been searching for a great new bag and ankle boots for so long...and trying to choose between investment piecesand couldn't make a decisionor part with that much cash :))
So I bought these boots and bagat Target on a whimbecause I needed them that day.
And now I know I don't need to search any further.They serve their purpose very well.
My favorite piece to add to my base 'uniform'is my vintage overcoat.It was my first vintage purchase...ever.And I bought it over 30 years agowhen I was attending NYU.
With the weather here in SoCalI don't get to use it as much as I would loveso it is always an occasion when I can!So my dear friendsyou can see just how much style impacta fewwell chosen accessories can add to a daily 'uniform'Giving great style punchwith so little effort!
