Cannes has officially kicked off and instead of checking out the films, i'm more excited about checking out the dresses and hair & makeup looks of all the celebrities.
One of theee hottest celebrities right now, is model Cara Delevingne, who is renowned for looking amazing in all her red carpet appearances.
So here is the gorgeous Cara Delevingne at Cannes. The model has gone for Gatsby Glam, and the look has really paid off.
You can use these makeup products to get cara's look!
Starting from;-
1 - Nars Sheer Glow foundation. Cara has a medium coverage foundation which makes her skin look glowy. Im almost certain she used this foundation to achieve this look. Apply this with a good foundation brush, such as Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and press any oily parts of your skin with a setting powder. If like Cara, you want an all over dewy skin, i would recommend not using a setting powder as this can mattify the look.
Now skip to step 6 to do the 'brows'.
2 - Using the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, i would use 'venus' at the arch of the brow, and the inner corner of the eyes. Using a fluffy brush, i would then apply 'faint' all over the lid, up to the crease, and using a blending brush, i would blend this in. I would then use the color 'crave' in the crease and outer corner, creating a very slight flick at the ends. If you have trouble keeping a straight edge, try using sellotape! Blend the crease with a clean blending brush and run some of the eyeshadow under the eye and again blend.
3 - I would use Clinique bottom lash mascara to get Cara's long and perfectly seperated bottom lashes.
4 - Using this Laura Mercier shimmer block, i would sweep this across the top of my cheeks and even into the apple of the cheeks, sweeping up to the temples and down the nose.
5 - Apply some Maxfactor clump defy mascara to get the perfect lashes.
6 - The brows! Using benefit 'brow zings' palette, work the product into your brows with an angled eyeliner brush, cara's eyebrows are her statement feature, she has natural, thick eyebrows. Make sure not to make your brows look 'drawn on' even if they are! use upward strokes at the front of the brow to achieve that natural look.
7 - If you want your lashes to stand out like cara's, add a set of Eylure naturalites false lashes.
8 - Finish the look by applying Mac 'Ruby woo' to your lips.
In terms of hair, you can use these products!
1 - Use velcro rollers to wrap your hair round. make sure you start at the top and wrap backwards.
2 - Using a hairdryer, this one is the remington keratin smoothe one, but any will do, blow dry your hair for a couple of minutes, let your hair cool for roughly 30 minutes and then unravel your hair from the rollers.
3 - Using a teasing brush (you can get one in boots, primark or on ebay) start to tease the hair at the crown and spray with some hairspray.
4 - Using a brush (this one is from Denman), gently brush over the hair, being careful not to loose the volume you made at the crown, or brushing out the curls. the idea of this is to smoothe the hair. Brush towards the right side of your face.
5 - Using kirby grips, (or bobby pins if youre American/Canadian) start to cross pin your hair towards the right side of your face, so your hair drapes over your right shoulder.
6 - Spritz some Elnett hairspray over any flyaway hairs. Tease parts of your hair to give it a fluffy un-textured look.
