Verdict on Get Away

Recap

The movie follows a family who travel to a remote Swedish island for a vacation. They disturb the locals who are about to celebrate a tradition. However, not everything goes as the family imagined.

Best Parts

The movie leans into the blood-splatter side to everything. It brings additional comedy to what we see and keeps us wanting to see how far things will go. The performances are great with the four family members shining along with the typical community who don’t like outsiders.

Worst Parts

The weakest part behind everything is how far it goes to be different. Once we hit that mark, it becomes slightly more confusing as to what is happening with everything for the second half of the movie.

Final ThoughtsGet Away is wacky, humorous and a bloodbath.
