Savannah, it’s been a slice of pecan pie. I had a very full day cruising the streets of Savannah. I invested $5.95 as opposed to $30+ for a trolley tour on a self-guided walking book of the city. I did 3 out of the 4 walks and saw a few of the sights listed on the 4th. I’m going to go ahead and call that a Win. This morning I started with a pasty at Pie Society along with a glass of sweet tea…only in the south! When I exited the building, I ran into a man wearing ETSU Bucanneers gear! I stopped him and we became friends. His name is James and he graduated from ETSU in the 70’s. I very rarely run into folks wearing my alma mater, so it’s a big deal to me when I do.
