So the plus size fashion brand, Evans, contacted me about the new Gemma Collins collection that they have released and asked if I wanted to choose a piece to feature on my blog!
I chose this dress which is a black and silver grecian maxi dress - ideal for both summer casual to be worn with sandals, sunnies and an oversized bag or if you're like me and love all out glam, It's ideal for wearing with heels, a clutch bag and a red lip.
For me, the attention is all based in the bewelled area at the waist band. The dress is quite low cut so I chose to draw attention to my decolletage by not wearing a necklace and wearing my hair half up half down.
The lipstick is the Revlon Lip Butter in "Red Velvet" and is super creamy and easy to wear. I always love to do a simple eye if I'm doing a bold lip - doing both is a tad too much!The Gemma Collins Collection is catered towards people who are curvy like me - I am a curvy size 20/22 and I didn't feel daunted to wear any of the items in the collection. Many of the items have ruching at the mid section to be more flattering for those of us who are self conscious about our stomachs, and many items have sleeves to cover up the bingo wings! (my personal biggest problem point!)
I love that this is a maxi dress, it means I can feel summery without having to get my legs out!
