The new cross-guard Lightsaber from the Star Wars Episode VII caused some of the geeks to unleash their nerdy wrath upon J.J. Abrams for disappointing them with this new changed Lightsaber. As a Star Wars fan myself, I actually found it to be quite fascinating, and if you take a look at these pictures, you’ll see why.
This Star Wars fan named Makoto Tsai from Japan has created a replica of that new Crossguard Lightsaber and it looks totally badass. Full equipped with a cool light-up system, this lightsaber looks as awesome as it was in the movie trailer.

And for those of you who still hate the Crossguard Lightsaber, I’m sure J.J. Abrams has a good reason to make that change to the lightsaber, and most of all I’m not simply going to judge a movie based on its first teaser trailer.
