Geeksphone & Silent Circle to Launch Smartphone That Gives More Control Over Privacy

Geeksphone, the Spanish smartphone maker is slowly beginning to take over the mobile market with its’ own unique devices. After being one of the first companies to offer smartphones powered by Firefox OS, the company revealed plans for launching a dual-boot smartphone. Now the start-up company has joined forces with the encrypted communications firm Silent Circle to launch a unique smartphone that gives users more control over their privacy. They call it the “Blackphone.”

Google offers Android for free, but it comes with a cost. The cost of user privacy. NSA isn’t the only one who spying on you, Google also stalk you and your data for their own evil plans. And of course they share that data with governments as well. However, you don’t have to worry about exposing yourself when using the Blackphone as it gets powered by a security-oriented Android build named PrivatOS, which  even allows you to “make and receive secure phone calls; exchange secure texts; exchange and store secure files; have secure video chat; browse privately; and anonymize your activity through a VPN.”
