Geeksphone’s Revolution Smartphone Lets You Switch Operating Systems

Spanish smartphone maker, Geeksphone has revealed the specs of its’ upcoming smartphone “Revolution,” which touts an innovative new feature that allows users to switch operating systems without voiding the warranty. For example, if you feel like Android is too mainstream, you can switch to Firefox OS and use the phone in an entirely new way.

Geeksphone’s Revolution will feature a 4.7-inch 960×540 IPS touchscreen, powered by an 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor, “HD-capable” 8MP camera  and 2000 mAh battery.  Without doubt this phone will be a great choice for advanced smartphone users who are looking for a change of pace.

“Revolution, our new handset, will be a high-end smartphone with, a powerful Intel processor inside, which will bring unique capabilities to our existing customers and attract new ones.  Additionally, end users will be able to choose which operating system they want, which breaks yet another traditional barrier in the mobile industry,” said Javier Agüera, Geeksphone Co-Founder and CEO.

Geeksphone will unveil this new device very soon as it’s set to go on sale during Q1, 2014.
