I can't believe it's been a week since Coachella! I had so much being silly with friends, photo shooting with Lulu's, and party hopping from one desert mirage to the next. But the highlight of the weekend was seeing, hearing, and falling hard for the xx. The moment the London indie pop band started playing on the Coachella main stage, the rest of the world muted into non-existence. All I could hear was their rich and powerful vocals softly whispered into my ears as each song reverberated and penetrated deep into the layers of the cerebral. The end of the set felt like the ending to a pensively intimate night with a new love. Exciting but not enough.
