{GBF Beauty + Style | Jessica Rabbit}

Images of the sultry Jessica Rabbit was emblazoned in my mind while prepping for the VMAs. She was my style muse, a vision of old Hollywood glamour that begs to be celebrated.  So at the TRESemme glam lounge, we used shades of taupe, black eyeliner, and two sets of falsies to exaggerate my almond shaped eyes. For the hair, we set the pin curls with TRESemme Two Extra Hold Hair Spray and teased it out to create voluminous curls swept to one shoulder. 
I vacillated between two dresses to complete the look and couldn't make up my mind until after outfit photos were taken. Although I loved the theatrics of my ivory metallic lace Bariano mermaid gown, the train was overwhelming and susceptible to dirt and my clumsiness. So in the end, I chose the bright orange Nicole Miller vixen dress. Curve hugging and silhouette defining, I wore my Jewel Toned minidress shapewear underneath to ensure things curved at the right angle.
