Gather ’round the table for the second annual Winter Parade

I’ve always enjoyed hitting up De Parade each summer, and was really bummed when I wasn’t able to make it out this year. So you can imagine how stoked I was to discover that the creators of Parade also have a Winter Parade.

The Winter Parade offers the best in food and entertainment you’ve come to expect from De Parade, but with a special wintertime twist. Instead of the outdoor event that takes place during the summer, Winter Parade combines a pre-determined theatrical programme with a five-course meal that ends in a Silent Disco, all taking place at a 120-meter-long table that serves as a stage, dance floor, kitchen, and, yes, even a table.

A total of 500 dinner guests/audience members/silent disco dancers will enjoy a delicious mustard soup starter complete with tapanadas, bread, and specially made olive oil, followed by a fresh mixed salad and pasta all arrabiata with Parmesan cheese, chased by a mouth-watering cheese and compote tray for dessert, all prepared under the supervision of celebrity chef Andre Amaro.

Each dinner features a difference performance, so no two Winter Parade evenings are alike.

Back for its second edition, the Winter Parade comes to Amsterdam at the Oude Kerk from December 22-26 after stopping in The Hague and Rotterdam. If you miss it when it comes to town, no worries – you can always catch it in Nijmegen (28 and 29 December), Haarlem (3 and 4 January), and Eindhoven (5 January).

Will you be joining me at the table this Winter Parade?
