Expect Labs was selected as one of only five “Cool Vendors” in Gartner’s 2013 list of “Cool Vendors in Consumer Mobile Applications.” This year’s report highlighted a handful of companies that are pioneering work in the mobile space, in addition to the opportunities available with each designated vendor. In order to narrow down the list of honorees, Gartnerconducted in-depth research to fully understand the value and capabilities that set each company apart.
Analyst Brian Blau writes:
Expect Labs, with its MindMeld app, could help app and services providers integrate highly sophisticated voice recognition functionality into a range of products that would benefit from advanced voice processing.
The report goes on to state that “MindMeld is cool” because the app experience “goes beyond” simple speech recognition and understands a conversation’s meaning to anticipate what users need before they have to search for anything.
