Sony’s press conference at GamesCom 2013 in Germany was filled with exciting announcement. One of them was the official release date of its’ next gen gaming console, PlayStation 4. With a price tag of $399 in the U.S., 399 euros in Europe , and 349 British pounds in the UK, PS4 will head out to stores in North America on November 15th and November 29th in Europe.

In other news, Sony also announced a huge price drop for its hand-held gaming device, PlayStation Vita. Now the Wi-Fi model of PS Vita costs only $199. This news comes after the recent rumors about the PS4 and Vita bundle, which seem ridiculous after this price drop. But, it could still happen, maybe as a special edition pack for this holiday or something like that.

Talking about games, Sony confirmed that Minecraft will be a  launch game for PS4 and also showed off some remote play features of PS4 with PS Vita, playing Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. You can check it out in the video.

Only three months left to get your hands on the new console, are you ready?
