The Pirates start their final road trip of the regular season with a three game set in Chicago. Game one pits Charlie Morton against hard throwing right hander Jeff Samardzija. Morton pitched 8 superb innings in his last outing against the Padres but was the hard luck loser when the bullpen blew the lead in the 9th. The chances are good that the Pirates will clinch a wildcard birth while in the Windy City, the first time since 1992 that the Pirates will have made the playoffs.
