Galaxy Note II Full Specifications

The long anticipated unpacked event in Berlin has just finished and what we saw was a lot, actually more than we expected, a new Galaxy Note II which did not come as a surprise, a Galaxy Camera that runs on the latest version of Android OS Jelly Bean, the ATIV S Windows Phone 8 and the ATIV tab!

There is no way I can analyze everything on this blogpost so let’s take things one at a time beginning with what else the Galaxy Note II.

Some of its basic characteristics are that along with the Samsung Galaxy SIII and the coming Galaxy Note 10.1 it will be running the 4.1 Android Jelly Bean OS, wears a monstrous battery of 3,100 mAh (its predecessor was already carrying the biggest battery out there, 2500 mAh), a 1.6 Ghz quad core Exynos processor and comes with a 1024 levels of sensitivity S pen with a rubber tip that we had already seen in Barcelona at the MWC 2012 and I can reassure you it works perfectly and recognises any handwriting (I saw doctors using it there so that is proof of its abilities for sure).

It has an 8 megapixel back camera and a 1.9 front one (just like the Galaxy SIII), it is 80.5 x 151.1 x 9.4mm and weighs just 180 grammars.

The Super Amoled Plus display is 5.5 inches and uses Corning Gorilla Glass 2 with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and is expected to hit the market in October.

Let me make clear here that the Galaxy Note series is not designed to be compared with the i-phone as it is certainly a category on its own.  So please do not start making any comparisons!  From my personal experience at the MWC 2012 it address a different market of executives and professionals looking for a phone that can serve as a tab as well while on business trips and of course those of us who are looking for a device that lets us express our creativity.
