Last month, I created a set of wedding vows for a photoshoot here in Dallas. It was a bridal shoot, organized by Lucia of Foster Blue wedding planning, and it took place in a pecan grove. Sounds lovely, right? The vows I created were part of the table display.
Since the theme of the shoot was old timey and romantic, I made the vows like that too.
They were hand lettered with india ink and a dip pen. I even got to play with some gold ink, which was really fun. I wish I could say I’m good enough to freehand all the text, but I had a guide under my canvas to go by. By the way, you’ll never guess what I used for a canvas: it’s this fabric stabilizer that people use when sewing neckties to make them more stiff.
I haven’t seen any pics from the photoshoot yet, but I’m dying to!
