Steve Sammartino and Raul Oaida, two super-geeks living in Romania have teamed up to build a massive geeky ride full of LEGO pieces. Using about 500,000 pieces of Lego and 256 pistons they have created a fully functioning, life size car that you can actually drive. Obviously, those electric and badass muscle cars were too mainstream for these two geeks.

They call it the “Superawesome Micro Project.” The vehicle has been designed based on a Hot Rod design and gets powered by an engine made from Lego which runs on air. Sammartino claims the top speed of this car to be around around 20-30km. They were actually “scared of a lego explosion” so they had to drive it slowly. Still, it’s pretty impressive achievement for a ride made with tiny LEGO bricks.
