By Bridgetteraes @BridgetteRaes

Sunguard UPFAll during Skin Cancer awareness we have been talking to you about the importance of Sun Protective clothing and Bridgette Raes Style Blog has brought you two great sources to buy them from; Your Summer Skin and Coolibar.

But tossing all your outfits and replacing them with sun protective clothing is impractical for many reasons. Is there a solution?

Yes! SunGuard UPF Wash-in Detergent is a revolutionary skincare product/ laundry additive that washes sun protection into your everyday clothing, helping to block more than 96% of the sun’s harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays from reaching your skin. SunGuard will invisibly shield you from both UVA and UVB rays.

SunGuard’s active ingredient is TINOSORB® FD, a time-tested UV protectant created by Europe’s Ciba labs. SunGuard penetrates a garment’s fibers – so your clothes absorb UV rays rather than allowing them to pass through fabric. Simply add one package of SunGuard to the washer along with your detergent. Follow the fabric care instructions on your clothes, and use the hottest water safe for your fabric. Allow at least 15 minutes of agitation or soaking time, then rinse and dry as usual. SunGuard works best without the addition of chlorine bleach. You can, however, use bleach during future washings without compromising SunGuard’s protection. Sunguard protection will last through 20 washings. Synthetic fibers, such as polyester, acetate, acrylic and nylon, cannot be effectively treated using SunGuard. so read labels carefully.

SunGuard permeates fabric without changing the color or comfort of clothing, and is safe for even the most sensitive skin.

At only $3 a box its easily affordable so whatever your excuse for not wearing sun protective clothing its gone now!
