Follow the fabric care instructions on your clothes, and use the hottest water safe for your fabric. Allow at least 15 minutes of agitation or soaking time, then rinse and dry as usual. SunGuard works best without the addition of chlorine bleach. You can, however, use bleach during future washings without compromising SunGuard’s protection. Sunguard protection will last through 20 washings. Synthetic fibers, such as polyester, acetate, acrylic and nylon, cannot be effectively treated using SunGuard. so read labels carefully.
