Skin Cancer Prevention Tip #4: Skin protective clothing is great way to prevent skin cancer but you still need to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. To fully protect your skin apply sunscreen 20 minutes BEFORE you leave the house and be sure to use a full ounce of lotion (roughly a shotglass full) of lotion. Don't forget to reapply every two hours!
