Friday’s Fab Find: M by Marlo

For many women, myself included nail polish holds a special place in your heart. It's often the first cosmetic girls use. I began painting my nails around age 10, but it would be a few more years until I would be permitted lip gloss or mascara. It's also one of the easiest cosmetics to use since you can't cry it off or a stray hair won't smear it (provided it's fully dry). But, yet, as an adult who frequently gets nail polish in gift bags, I rarely wear it.

I hate how quickly nail polish chips. I hate how difficult it is to remove. I hate how the polish smells. I hate how the remover smells. I used to carry around a small bottle of clear polish for runs in my hose but then I'd heard "what's that smell," so I decided I'd just buy hose by the case and toss each pair the first time it ran.

Last month I asked readers what they wanted more of. So many of you said you like non-toxic items. Well, make room in your vanity. I have found an AMAZING new nail polish.

M by Marlo sells a completely vegan cruelty-free nontoxic low odor nail polish. It contains no formaldehyde, formaldehyde RESIN, toluene, DBP (dibutyl phthalate), or camphor. Currently, they are only 5 shades but the company is growing! The polish is ultra-long-wear in professional shades. The formula delivers brilliant, chip-resistant, fade-proof shine. You can visit their website here.

The lacquer was truly designed with the busy career woman in mind. You can do touch ups at your desk because the formula has a very low odor. Need to remove your polish ? You will fall in love with the soy nail polish remover made with a blend of Vitamins A, C, E oil. It's healthy and eco-friendly nail polish remover with no odor. This product does not contain acetone or harsh acetates, which will dry out your skin and damage the nail and cuticles.
