Friday’s Fab Find: Altrutte and Jewels of HopeThere are so many wonderful things about the holiday season. My personal fave is finding that perfect gift for that certain someone...and gift cards for those people who IMPOSSIBLE to shop for.

Here at Bridgette Raes, we love finding great organizations that not only provide beautiful jewelry but also contribute to charity. Now your Christmas shopping can come with an altruistic purpose and as an added bonus the jewelry is stunning!

Jewels For Hope

Jewels For Hope was founded by Sandy D'Andrea in 2009 after acting for nearly a decade as caregiver to her mother, who was afflicted with Parkinson's disease and dementia. As a free-spirited wife & mother of 3 girls Sandy found her calling - creating one-of-a-kind jewelry with a purpose - to give back.

Jewels For Hope donates 10% of the profits of specialty items to one of the following organizations (chosen by a drop down menu on each individual item)

* Hospice
* We Stop Hate
* A Cure In Sight
* Save the Sound
* Labs 4 Rescue

Check out their Etsy shop.

Altrutte

I love charms esp when they come on necklaces. Charms make such great personal gifts. A way to show a loved one, you paid attention to the fact they are into photography or love ballet. I've found this amazing company Altrutte that make simply adorable charms. But that's not all. Each charm represents a different nonprofit that receives a substantial portion of every sale. As a huge dog lover, I adore the Lucky Dog charm and 50% of the proceeds go the Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, an all-volunteer, non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless animals and educating the community on responsible pet ownership.

Happy Shopping!
