It’s the first official weekend of summer, and on Sunday along with it being the longest day of sunshine of the year, it’s also Father’s Day. What are your plans for spending it with dad? I think, if the weather permits, a day in the yard and grilling up some lunch sounds exactly what my dad will want, and some freshly made ice cream too. This week was all about taking it slow, reorganizing and sorting things back after multiple events, and getting prepped for my vacation getaway to Portugal. With flowers still beautiful from my cousin’s bridal shower filling up the house, it was too hard not to want to share only flower photos, but there hasn’t been a shortage of pretty things around here. I’m attending J’s best friend’s wedding this wedding, and then relaxing with my father. There will be plenty of inspiration coming next week. Have a great weekend and Father’s Day!

Pretty tile floor in a lovely rustic coffee shop in the flower district in New York City. Being in the flower market and seeing so many beautiful things, was a cool way to spend the morning of my birthday.
