Fresh New Tune from Summer Camp [video]

Rising to the surface just in time for TWHP to announce our own Summer Camp series, the aptly named Summer Camp from London, comprised of duo Elizabeth Sankey and Jeremy Warmsley, have released a catchy, boogie down track for all to hear. Having made waves with their 2012 EP, Always, they’re now backing it up with a full-length album set to drop on September 9th, featuring the title track above, “Fresh”. The track works around a Saturday Night Fever-worthy bassline, swinging melodies and Sankey’s infectiously soaring vocals, leading to a sound reminiscent of Chic. Just as sweet is their accompanying lyric video, which blends archived cartoons and dance movies as well some tongue-in-cheek subtitles (just in case your computer volume isn’t working).
