There are times in your life when you know that the chapter has closed and it’s time to move on to something else. Most times it’s a new journey, often times we return to the all too familiar but with a fresh new outlook. For the past few days it has really felt that my time here in Arizona is done, well it just seems right that at this point in my life I need to go back home and be with my family. We’ve heard many sayings referring back to how life throws us hurdles, because we can indeed overcome those obstacles, which help us become stronger, better versions of ourselves. We must take every moment in life as an experience that can only help you in the long run. I’ve had to overcome some of the most challenging professional tasks, deal with two dear losses in my family, all while slowly working myself to complete empty losing sight of my passions along the way. It’s a part of life, that our career overcomes our personal life at times, but it’s about being able to find the balance, so you don’t run yourself into a rut. There’s no doubt that this decision is the right one for me at this moment, and although with some hesitation that of course come with moving back home and leaving behind beautiful landscapes, I am positive that good things will come out of this. I have serious plans and ideas that I know I can finally make happen once home. I’m hopeful and determined, yet reflective and sentimental cherishing beautiful memories I shared in Portugal with my dear sweet aunts, wishing more than anything that I could be with my family. And in the end what are we if we aren’t with our family in a time of need, and this is my time of need but also my fresh new start.
