Yes, you read that right.

Masculine, but without feeling too formal or stuffy, the Power Plant Bar and Grill is a kid-free zone after lunch. But before then? It’s a great place to pop in!
The focal point of this French Lick, Indiana restaurant lies in the relic from days past: the large electrical switchboard complete with all the switches and labels.
Once upon a time, this simple switchboard supplied the electricity to French Lick Springs Hotel. Today? It certainly makes for interesting wall art!

Browsing through the Power Plant Bar and Grill menu, there were plenty of good things to choose from. But in the end?
Hubs decided on the Kentucky Colonel’s Burger: Sauteed mushrooms and onions, covered in Swiss cheese, with a bit of bourbon flavor in there to keep things interesting.
As for me…I was still deciding while the kids ordered a hot dog and the macaroni and cheese. Bypass the mac n’ cheese (it’s the boxed stuff) and go for the all-beef hot dog. It’s GIANT! They enjoyed the fresh fruit we were able to sub for the chips.
The menu had a Reuben Sandwich and a Pork Tenderloin Sandwich! What to do? In the end, the Reuben Sandwich won me over. Paired with the house chips–this was good food! An excellent Reuben!

Warm atmosphere, generous portions, and yummy food makes the Power Plant Bar and Grill an appetizing option when you stay at the French Lick Springs Resorts.
The live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights makes this Orange County bar and grill a great place to relax–the amaretto sour I downed didn’t hurt either!
