Free Dallas Adventures | Dallas, Texas

The first time I visited Dallas was in 2013. I did a road trip which started off in Dallas, drove down to New Orleans, Miami, up to Philly, D.C., and ended up in New York. I even included the Bahamas. From New York, I flew back home to Los Angeles.

Now I am back in Dallas, and I wanted to show you that not every adventure requires spending a lot of money. Check out these spots I visited for FREE while in Dallas.

411 Elm Street, Dallas, Texas, 75202

Dealey Plaza is the historic west end district of downtown Dallas and is the location of the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Today, the plaza is visited daily by tourists. There is a man who sells newspapers with the headlines of JFK assassination for $5. He was there in 2013, and he was there during my current visit. Next to the plaza is The Sixth Floor Museum. Now, this time around I didn't go inside the museum. The museum entrance fee is $16. I would suggest you check it out. The museum examines the life, times, death, and legacy of President JFK and is located at the very spot from which Lee Harvey Oswald, according to four government investigations, shot and killed the president.

101-115 Continental Ave., Dallas, Texas 75207

The Ronald Kirk Bridge is a pedestrian bridge over the Trinity River. It is parallel to the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge for vehicles and connects Downtown Dallas to West Dallas. In 2010, the bridge had fallen into a state of disrepair, so when I visited in 2013, it wasn't open. However, it was repaired and opened up again in 2014. It provides an incredible view of Downtown Dallas, lounge chairs, and a playground.

Chase Tower

2200 Ross Ave., Dallas, Texas 75201

I think I've mentioned it repeatedly how obsessed I am with . I'm sure you have read it somewhere on the blog. Well, usually skyscrapers always have a hefty price to check out beautiful views of the city. On average, you pay about $25 to go up for a minute and then you come back down. The Chase Tower offers their skyscraper for FREE.

The Chase Tower is a 55 story skyscraper in the City Center District of Downtown Dallas. It's the fourth tallest skyscraper in the city and the 12th tallest building in Texas. You may have seen it on the TV series, Dallas , or on the sitcom, .

Upon entering the building, you'll check in with security. You'll have to present a valid ID, and fill out a sign-in sheet. You're told you only have 15 minutes on the 40th floor, however, they are lenient.

I hope you enjoyed this adventure. Make sure to subscribe on Youtube: . See you on our next adventure. In the meantime, check out every scene...
