Your hand fits in mine Like it's made just for me But bear this in mind It was meant to be And I'm joining up the dots With the freckles on your cheeks And it all makes sense to me
However, it depends upon the type of freckles whether they are attractive or more of a problem. According to freckles.com, some freckles can really be a pain in the neck. To know more about freckles and how to remove that, let us discuss more about freckles in detail.
What are freckles?
According to WebMD, freckles are tiny auburn spots that usually occur during summers and wither away during winters. Freckles are common among people with fair skin. They can be observed on face, neck, shoulders and other parts that are exposed to sunlight. These are simple freckles.
The other type is known as 'sun freckles'. Their color may range from yellowish brown to reddish brown. Sun-burn freckles do not disappear with summers and tend to stay longer. Getting sun-burn freckles is a sign that the sun has been doing damage to your skin.
Sun-burn freckles appear to be larger as the tiny dots overlap each other to form patches. These patches have uneven border. This kind of freckles is the ones people don't like as they tend to snatch away the charm from the otherwise beautiful skin. Freckles are actually harmless.
Why does one get freckles?
Our skin has a specific set of cells that produce pigment from which our skin gets its color. These cells are called 'melanocytes'. The pigment is called as melanin. Higher the amount of melanin produced darker is the skin tone, and vice-versa.
The Sun is the chief perpetrator for giving you freckles. The strong rays of the Sun tend to cause damage to the melanocytes. This hampers the normal arrangement of melanin in our skin cells causing it to form irregular and anomalous pigmentation marks, what we know as freckles.
