Located right in downtown Danville, Indiana across from the Hendricks County Courthouse, it’s easy to find.
It’s big, airy, and really nice! It’s been a long-time local favorite and a downtown fixture since 1999!
The owner of Frank’s Place immigrated to the US from Sicily back in the early 1970′s. He gained experience making pizza in New York and eventually moved to Danville. Now Hendricks County folks get to enjoy the benefit of all that pizza making experience in Frank’s Italian restaurant.

You’ll find many Italian favorites on the menu at Frank’s Place: Frutta di Mare, Tortellini salsa Avorio, Manicotti, Baked Ziti, and Spaghetti with Meatballs are just a few items on the menu.
I decided on Petto di Pollo Principessa, chicken topped with asparagus and mozzarella, and the Antipasto Salad, while my husband, Jeremy, went for the Petto di Pollo alla David, chicken with mushrooms, sausage, and white wine with a sprinkle of mozzarella.
Our boys made their decisions quickly, too. Kid #1 wanted pepperoni pizza. Kid #2 requested buttered noodles.
When our food arrived, we dug in, and everyone was happy! I will say that the pepperoni pizza looked really, really good and I wish I had tried a bite before it was GONE!
