Starting out an as all out hardcore punk band Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes are now exploring other pastures. Their new album End Of Suffering (the Buddhist term for enlightenment) is very much the wok of an English band, but they also taken cues from bands like Queens of the Stone Age and Soundgarden. It is still heavy and mostly angry, but they have added more melodic hooks and even some jazzy piano when they say hi to Amy Winehouse by quoting "Love is losing game". Depression and fear and loathing are clamouring for the upper hand in their lyrics, with lead single Anxiety as a belated addition to the recipe that was perfected by Nirvana.

End Of Suffering is the result of the cross pollination of the band's influences. They do whatever the fuck they want - a punk attitude that can keep them going for many years to come.
