Four More Years of FLOTUS Fashion

By Bridgetteraes @BridgetteRaes

Michelle-Obama-Inauguration-Style-2013I am SO in love with Michelle Obama’s Inaugural Day look.  Being a lover of accessories and how they can change up a look and make and outfit interesting, I am loving that she added the pop of purple surprise in her leather gloves.

Add to that, FLOTUS took the Thom Browne coat she was spotted wearing at St. John’s Church this morning and did a subtle shoe change (J. Crew pumps to a pair of suede boots) and added the amazing embellished belt.  I LOVE this belt!!!

Love or hate Michelle Obama’s style, there is always so much to learn from how she dresses.  She wears investment pieces multiple ways,  she recycles old looks, she has a wardrobe containing varying price points, and her classic and timeless style always has a twist.   These are the biggest requests for help that I get from my own clients.
I think my dream job would be dressing Michelle Obama, but whomever is doing it my hat is tipped to you.

Purple is definitely the color theme of the inauguration.  When the first family spotted arriving at St. John’s Church this morning, both Sasha and Malia were wearing purple hues, Malia in J. Crew and Sasha in Kate Spade.

And, maybe I’m the only one who noticed this but at yesterday’s swearing in, Michelle Obama was wearing Reed Krakoff dress.  Reed Krakoff also designed that fish bird shirt that Ann Romney got slammed for wearing.  Personally, I LOVE Reed Krakoff and am glad to see Michelle looking great in it!

What do you think of the First Family’s inaugural style?
