It’s probably quite obvious that one of my favorite things to photograph are flowers. One flower in particular that I love? Sunflowers. They have always been one of my favorites, and I’m extremely blessed to live very close by to a very amazing sunflower field that is planted by Colby Farm each year.
Colby Farmstand, next to where the sunflower field is located, is a local, farmer-run farmstand in Newbury, MA. There is nothing better than supporting the local businesses, and I love doing so. Whenever I have a chance, I love popping in for their fresh produce and seeing what other fun finds they have.
The sunflower field is a beautiful sight, and I look forward to seeing that field of yellow every September. Below are some of my favorite photos I have taken there; most of these were from 2011-2012, and the field has only gotten larger and more beautiful.
To help support the re-planting, and the pure amazing-ness of this field, for every photo sold of the sunflowers (no matter the size!), I will be donating 20% of the proceeds to Colby Farmstand.
