In the week we had a PhD dinner to celebrate some people handing in their thesis. I wanted a slightly bolder look than i normally go for and i wanted to try out some products (The Laura Mercier palette and the MUA velvet lips) and i think overall i created a look that was translated from day to night (i was teaching all day and went straight from uni). I think the Bobbi Brown foundation is my new favorite, i just can't say enough good things about it. I went for a purple eye (different from my normal nuteral eye) and the MUA velvet lips packs quite a punch color wise, i did find the color wears off quite easily in the lips and leaves quite a stubborn lip liner look so you need to keep it topped up.
