I felt like going for a fairly natural look yesterday, with an added hint of pink here and there. I was quite happy with how it turned out and felt it fit perfectly for the sunny weather!

I began by moisturising my skin with the Elemis Softly Softly Moisturiser and let that absorb into my skin for a bit before applying my Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation with a stippling brush, in circular motions over my face and making sure to blend onto the neck. A lovely foundation, which creates a gorgeous dewy glow and doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin, so perfect for sunny and hot weather.

Following this, I applied MAC Select Cover Up concealer in NC20 onto my blemishes and under my eyes (I’m growing to love this concealer following my slightly negative review a while back!). I like how it blends nicely and helps to maintain the dewy look.,something I have been loving lately.

Leaving the skin for a bit, I went on to apply MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork all over my eye lids, helping to create a gorgeous light brown base, for my eye shadow. I haven’t had this long at all, but really liking it so far. Following that, I applied Buck from the Urban Decay Naked Palette , which is a matte natural tan/brown colour, which I am really enjoying using at the moment! To add a bit of dimension I used my new Illamsqua Empower Palette with Synth, a gorgeous iridescent pink. I applied this in the corners of my eyes, to brighten them up a tad, and just to add a nice touch of pink girlyness – you got to do it every now and again!

With the eye shadow blended and completed, I moved on to apply my TopShop Gel liner to my top lash line, trying my best to create a slick, straight line, but it’s not what I’m best at…but it came out relatively okay. For the lashes, after curling, I applied lashings of Diorshow Iconic Lash Curler Mascara, for the full-on long, thick and curly lash look (this mascara does this perfectly).

Back to the skin, I patted on with my fingers MAC Cremeblend blush in, yep you’ve guessed it, Something Special! Which helps to again, give a bit of pink to the look and helps to keep the girly feel to the face. And, for contouring, was the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, which does the job perfectly.

For the lips, I used Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Colour in Bikini Pink. And there you have it, a natural but girly look!

Hope you’ve enjoyed
