Foster the People Release New Single off Upcoming Album [video]

Foster the People have released the first single from their forthcoming sophomore record Supermodel this week. The song entitled “Coming of Age” is catchy and filled with Mark Foster’s distinctive falsetto. Despite the name, the song feels very similar to the indie-pop formula of their debut LP Torches, which included the undisputed summer song of 2011, “Pumped up Kicks.” Interestingly, Foster has promised that the new record will be more  ”polarizing,” “organic” and in line with The Pixies and The Clash. Hmm… Well, we are certainly intrigued! Whatever the end result, this first offering will certainly not disappoint FTP’s loyal fan base. Supermodel is due for release on March 18th.
