The first time I was introduced to the UK folk/rock band Fossil Collective was back in 2011 when they released a wonderful track/video for "On and On." Since then, they were working hard on their debut album, Tell Where I Lie, which will be available April 8th. These guys sort of remind me of Fleet Foxes, not that it is a bad thing or that they are a copycat as the pair make their own great music. Yet, the sound is also not revolutionary, but I don't think that is exactly what Fossil Collective is going for, which is perfectly fine. They just want to make music that connects with the listener and I think they have accomplished that on their debut album.
