Summer is just around the corner and I cannot wait to be in open toes foot wear. My feet needs to breathe, y'all! However, earlier this year, when I was getting ready I got the shock of my life. May be not that dramatic but I was pretty shocked and then upset. I got the flashback of this terrible advertisement from 90's in India which was for a foot creme. I knew it right there and then that along with my face, hair, body, nails, now I had to make time for my feet too (hence the 5am wake up!). Aging sucks.
So without any more of my theatrics here's what steps I took and continue to take now as a weekly + daily regime. Below is what I do as a weekly upkeep following by the foot creme twice every day.
1. Soak your feet in lukewarm water and add some epsom salt. This really feels good after a long day of walking or standing but doing this once a week regularly would help maintain the health of your feet.
For the next steps you need warm water, a foot scrubber, pumice, and foot butter. Here I am using the 7th Heaven's Foot Pumice & Foot Butter.
2. This helps in deep exfoliation. You can either use the scrubber or do it with your hands. 3. Lastly apply the foot butter/creme all over your feet and heels and massage till absorbed.
These are the products I have been using so far and have seen great results. Even if you do not suffer from cracked heels I would suggest incorporating a foot care regime sooner than later. Especially for the summers! Products: Foot Pumice - 7th Heaven | Lather Foot Creme - 7th Heaven | Lather Foot Scrubber
