Flowers, Fruits and Seeds

By Stephanie
The sun has been hiding behind the clouds but the roses including Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) made their appearance felt. My One-Day Yellow Desert Rose produces blooms that have tinges of red on its yellow petals these days. Though pale in colour, they cheer me up every time they appear :D Flowers, Fruits and Seeds

My Rosa 'Othello' rose scaled so high up till I could see the flower. Also from the pic you could see that its leaves have been chewed. The leaves are sweet? Or maybe the bug was really hungry, haha...

This Mulberry plant (Morus sp.) was given by a friend. Anyone can identify this mulberry - whether black, white or red mulberry? I received the cutting a few months ago and only recently I found a place to transplant the cutting into a pot. Some weeks later I noticed its leaves grew bigger and pistillate inflorescences appeared.

The flowers...

Notice a little sprout in the center of pic below? I am keeping my crossed that it is indeed a sprout from a Mini Watermelon seed that I have sown earlier...

I got a bit greedy on Round Leaf Amaranth. Majority (if not all) of the seeds that I have sown into this pot sprouted. I have pull out some of them already. But I think tomorrow I have to thin them out more.

Meanwhile, the true leaves of my Caixin 'Hong Kong'seedlings in the porch have emerged. As you can see, I got greedy on this too. Have to thin out these seedlings as well.

My Blue Plumbago is ever blooming and its cool blue blooms are a pretty sight   to behold especially during cloudy days when everything seems so dull. The flowers below are resting on the Chinese Fringe Flower plant.

The orange hibiscus below blossomed from one of the lower branches of the shrub. Like the orange color more when it has faded to a lighter shade like this. What a joy to have caught a glimpse of it :-)

Happy gardening, all!
