We had a 2 hour layover in Atlanta and decided to grab something to eat. We got some food from Qdoba and found a nice area to sit by Gate 18 (Terminal A). While we were eating, our plane pulled up. You can see this in the first photo below. In the second, you can see the window where we ate and took the first photo:Here is our route of flight including altitude and speed:Here is a photo of my seat on the Delta 757-300, 41A (window). I was lucky on this flight to get a window seat. Flying across West across the United States, I saw everything from dormant volcanoes to meteor craters to the Grand Canyon. Here is the video of our takeoff from Atlanta. You can find more videos like this on my youtube channel, MartinsAviation1:

Taxiing off the runway after landing in Las Vegas, there was a good view of the Vegas Strip. You can see the gold Mandalay Bay on the left (this is where we stayed):

Before de-planing, I talked with the woman who was seated behind me, in 42A (window). She told me that (at 50+ years old) this was her first flight. She said that she loved the "awesome views" flying across the country. For a first flight, this wasn't a bad one to be on!
