If you were born in the U.S.A. but your father was born in Italy, but you had never ever lived in Italy, would you ever refer to Italy as your “home”?
But that’s exactly what then U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois) did in August 2006 when he visited Kenya. He told the crowd: “I am so proud to come back home!”
