I already had some plaid flannel leftover from a project. And it's purple, which I love. Win!
First off you need a long strip that measures about 73 inches long. Or, since I definitely did not have any pieces that long, 2 pieces that measure about 36 inches.
The width should measure about 13 inches.
First off, lay the two long pieces together, right sides in. Line up the two ends and pin.
Sew along the edge with a 1/4-1/2 inch seam allowance.
You now have a long piece of flannel.
Now fold the entire length widthwise with the right sides facing in. Pin along the outer edge.
Sew along that edge (1/4-1/2 inch allowance), leaving the ends open. Flip right side out. You now have a long tube of fabric.
Fold the edges of one end in like so.
And insert the other end of the scarf. Remember this from my original infinity scarf?
Pin in place and sew them together. Ensure you're going through both of the folded sides of the fabric as you sew.
And that's it. Done!
Now triple wrap it for a snuggly look.
Or double wrap it for a casual, comfy look.
It's so comfy and soft!
Have fun!! And stay warm.
