Today's post comes at the request of a member of my Facebook Group who posted asking if capri pants were going out of style. After all, they have been around for quite some time. I assured this member that I didn't see them being flushed out from the world of fashion any time soon. They're far too practical to be cast aside. For the woman who doesn't like to wear shorts, capris can be a life saver. Capri pants can be chic and timeless. There is a likely a style of capri pants that look good on just about anyone.
From this conversation in my group, I received the request to do a post on different ways to wear capri pants. I have touched on this topic before, and this is hardly a groundbreaking topic, but I was happy to oblige because it is a practical one. Here are some updated looks with capri pants using this style from Nic +Zoe.

Outfit #1
A client just purchased this summer sweater from Nic + Zoe that works so well for both casual and dressy casual. I finished this outfit with a pair of orange flat sandals from Halogen, a gold bag from MZ Wallace and statement necklace from Chico's.
Outfit #2
Next I styled these capri pants for business casual by adding this relaxed jacket from Lafayette 148, a black and white striped t-shirt, black J. Crew sandals, Bauble Bar earrings and black bag from Danse Lente.
Outfit #3
I wanted to create a look with some relaxed waist shape that is casual while looking pulled together and chic. I styled the outfit with a wrap detail top from Nordstrom, gold flat sandals from Sam Edelman, a blue crossbody bag from Shinola Detroit and silver earrings from Lauren Ralph Lauren.

I always like to show a look styling black with warm colors for those who like black but look better in warmer neutrals like brown, tans, cognac and camel. I styled this Eileen Fisher high low silk tunic in russet with a pair of tan heeled sandals from Sole Society, cognac bag from Lucky Brand and gold and silver hammered pendant.

This last look I styled for casual weekends. I layered this relaxed short sleeve cardigan from Leith over a easy white sleeveless top from Calson. I finished the look with a pair of slip on sneakers from Frye, a taupe bag from Botkier and basic silver hoops from Tom Wood.
