Five Persons Lose Life, Politics Continues

As many as five people were killed in seven low intensity serial blasts in Patna.
Also, more thant 60 persons were injured in the bomb explosions.

Timers were also used in serial blasts. Many of the accused involved in the blasts in Patna are from Jharkhand.
Police
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar called BJP President Rajnath Singh on phone and assured him that the state government would investigate the serial bomb blasts. He denied any political conspiracy:
“Where is the political conspiracy in this? Bihar has never had a tradition of violence and such attacks have never taken place before.”

Senior BJP leader L K Advani also spoke to Nitish Kumar over phone, say reports.
Condemning Patna serial blasts, senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha demanded a high-level inquiry into the incident.
"We demand a high level-inquiry into the serial blasts near our prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's rally."
