Hello everyone, I just realized that I have done posts on beauty and makeup for past few days. Since this is also a health blog, I won’t do injustice to it. Here’s presenting a healthy and useful post for all my blog readers. With fast changing world, our lifestyles have changed from good to worse. We are always in search of ready to eat and quick fix foods. this leads to obesity which affects out heart.
Include the below listed food in your diet to keep your heart healthy and stay fit:
1. Oats
Start your breakfast with oats, it is one of the healthiest breakfast option and is becoming increasingly popular worldwide. Oats are rich in soluble fibres that can bring down LDL or bad cholesterol level. Eat a bowl of oatmeal with milk every morning to kick-start your day. You can also opt for cookies containing oats for light snacks. For dinner you can prepare oats porridge too.
2. Soyabean
Soya beans are available as chunks and granules in local market. You can always prepare soya aloo sabji ( soyabean potato curry) for lunch or dinner. You can also prepare soyabean vadas ( soyabean fritters) for light snacking.
3. Tomatoes
Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin K and can lower the risk of heart diseases. Tomatoes are widely used in Indian dishes, you can also eat it raw in the form of salads before meal.
4. Almonds
Almonds are rich in Vitamin B, Vitamin e, magnesium and iron and can keep your heart healthy if consumed daily. Start your day with few almonds in the morning.
5. Spinach
Since childhood spinach has been the ultimate good food for us, popularized by our childhood cartoon “Popeye.” In fact, spinach is great source of iron and rich in dietary fibres. Eat spinach in salads or make spinach-cottage cheese curry for lunch or dinner.
