The 1930s is where Fisher & Paykel got its start by manufacturing designs made under license from New Zealand. After a government ban on imported products, the company had to create an innovative way to continue to produce merchandise.
What began as importing parts turned into developing plastic liners and polyurethane foam for insulating refrigerators, allowing the company to further capitalizing on profit. This appliance manufacturer utilized technology and creativity to design advanced washing machines, drawer dishwashers and more!
