The first photo was taken at the official photo call to give us the first look at the main cast of the film. Tom Hanks will be reprising the main role in as Robert Langdon, the symbologist with a very bad habit of getting into trouble. Felicity Jones will play the supporting role of Dr. Sienna Brooks, Robert Langdon’s sidekick in the story. Sidse Babett Knudsen will play Dr. Elizabeth Sinskey, the head of WHO. Omar Sy will play Christoph Brüder, the head of the SRS team on the hunt for Robert Langdon.
In addition, Ben Foster and Irrfan Khan will play the villainous roles. The film script will be written by David Koepp for the director Ron Howard.

A synopsis for the film is not necessary for the fans of Dan Brown book, but for those of you who are unfamiliar to the series, here it is -:
Inferno continues the Harvard symbologist’s adventures on screen: when Robert Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks, a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories and prevent a madman from releasing a global plague connected to Dante’s “Inferno.”
Inferno will hit theaters on October 14, 2016.
