South Metro Fire Protection District covers over 52 square miles with 3 stations. All first response apparatus are ALS equipped and staffed. There are 42 floor personnel (14 per shift) which cover the district while working a modified Berkley shift schedule, which can be found on the home page. A year end report of the department is also available on the home page for more detailed information. IAFF Local 3112 serves as the bargaining unit for all operational floor personnel.
