Twitter has quietly rolled out a new feature on its web, iOS and Android platforms, allowing users to mute updates from a particular user without having to follow them.

In order to mute a follower’s tweets you just have to tap on the “More” button and then hit mute @username to silent that user for as long as you want. And don’t worry, they will have no idea about it because you can still interact with them just as usual.
