Finally, Mozilla Intros Firefox Accounts, Sync Across Devices Made Easier

“Today, we’re introducing Firefox Accounts as a safe and easy way for you to create an account that enables you to sign in and take your Firefox with you anywhere. With Firefox Accounts, we can better integrate services into your Web experience, like the new Firefox Sync,” Mozilla announced via a blog post.

With this new feature, you will finally have the option to create an account for Firefox browser and store all your bookmarks, passwords, history, and open tabs and sync them across devices. New Firefox Sync also makes it easier to setup the service and add devices.

Firefox Accounts is currently available with Mozilla Firefox Aurora. After the initial testing the feature will roll-out for the Firefox browser. The new feature will come in handy for Firefox OS users.

In addition to the Firefox Accounts, Firefox Aurora received a number of new improvements including a “simplified and flexible user interface” and easier browser customization options.You can download and try the new Firefox Aurora here.
